Right next door is the German Navy Memorial. Perched on a hill 85 meters above the Baltic Sea, the memorial commemorates the fallen soldiers of the German Navy and at the same time serves as a reminder for peaceful navigation on the open seas. The viewing platform offers a unique 365 degree view over the entire Kiel Fjord and the breathtaking landscape.
