Meeresschutz und Nachhaltigkeit: Stell dir eine Welt ohne Plastik im Ozean vor

07.-08.06.2024
Marine Conservation City Day

To raise awareness of the global importance of marine conservation, Kiel-Marketing and the Ocean Summit are inviting you to the third Marine Conservation City Day on World Oceans Day. Be part of it!

Kiel can do the sea. Kiel is the sea.

June 8 is World Oceans Day, but in Kiel we are going one step further and also celebrating "Marine Conservation City Day". Why? As a marine conservation city, Kiel uses this occasion to inspire young and old to protect our oceans and to make this important topic tangible.

The initiative comes from Ocean Summit Kiel, which has been organizing a multifaceted day of action together with Kiel-Marketing since 2022. The project counts on the support of Segelcamp Kiel as well as numerous local NGOs dedicated to marine research or committed to marine and environmental protection.

There is something for everyone every time: from DIYs and clean-ups to live music.
