KIEL OPENS UP
Under the motto "KIEL MACHT AUF" ("KIEL OPENS UP"), on selected Sundays throughout the year, all shops throughout the inner city that would normally be closed due to the closing law in Germany will be opened. These special Sundays are often combined with traditional events in the city, including "Kieler Umschlag" and "Lichtermeer".
