Program
This year the Kiel Week will mainly include sailing regattas and little, closed areas with digital shows. Due to the Corona Pandemic, large crowds are to be avoided and no big concerts or event areas will take place. You can find the program here at the end of august.
Regattas
Kiel week is all about sailing and many international regattas. This year the main point of sailing regattas will be in Schilksee.
Boat tours
Experience the Kiel week from the water-as a regatta companion for fireworks or for the big and famous Windjammer Parade. In any case a great experience!
Windjammerparade
The Highlight of each Kiel Week! This year it will be called sailors-parade and it will only take place in Schilksee. Imagine the Kiel Fjord full of white sails and majestic old ships: A very special experience. On the second Saturday of Kieler Woche at 11 o'clock this festival of boats takes place. If not from the water you can see the ships stretching along the entire Kiel fjord (digital).

Ballooning
In 10 days you can admire extraordinary airships and fascinating balloons – both high in the sky, but also close to the ground. Five of the nights you can experience the popular "Night Glow" at "Nordmarksportfeld ". Here huge balloons are "dancing" and lighting up with rhythmic music. The spectacular end of these evenings is a colourful fireworks display.
